Did you know that one out of every ten veterans alive today was seriously injured while serving in the military, with most of those injuries occurring in combat? Veterans suffer a tremendous amount of stress and trauma during their years of service, making it difficult to adjust to everyday civilian life. The Wounded Warriors Project recognizes this as a prevalent issue in its community and is on a mission to ensure these veterans have a chance at normal life once again. This organization provides wounded veterans with the opportunity to participate in outdoor adventures with a team of volunteers who respect our heroes.
